      Unite In Prayer

Dear my lovely brothers and sisters,

Want to share with you an article. It's taken from http://www.chinese-goodnews.org/.

      Topic: Together

They all joined together constantly in prayer....Acts 1:14

The church is made up of old, young and middle-aged members, each group with its own needs and wishes. And in these groups are people of different tastes and preferences, people of defferent emotional make-ups and strenghts. We cannot even begin to number all the differences in the membership of the church.

The same was true of the little waiting congregation of Acts 1: mem and women, the ambitious sons of Zebedee, Simon the Zeolot, Matthew the former tax collector, and impetuous Peter.

The exercise of faith---prayer---conquered their diversity and created their unity. At some point in your worship today all the people with whom you have come together will unite in prayer.

Notice closely the words unite in prayer. Prayer does unite. Not only the family but also the congregation that prays together stays together.

      Prayer
Lord God, let us in our worship this day experience not only your presence but also the presence of our brothers and sisters in the church of Christ. In Jesus name, Amen! (Taken from May 6,今日箴言)
